GTA 6 PC Release Date: Analyst Says 6 to 7 Months, Report Says Q1 2027, Rockstar Says Nothing

Confirmed Rockstar has not announced GTA 6 for PC. No date, price or system requirements exist. It launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.

That hasn't stopped two different timelines from circulating.

They don't contradict each other as much as it seems: both point to the first half of 2027. But GamesBeat's report cites people familiar with the plans, while Pachter is an analyst offering an estimate. We'd weight them accordingly, and we wouldn't plan around either.

What Take-Two has said

Reported PC Gamer reports Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick saying PC players aren't GTA 6's core audience, which is why they have to wait. That's a clear signal on priority, though not a date.

Can you stream it to PC instead?

Confirmed No. Xbox's Matthew Ball said in October that GTA VI will not be streaming exclusively or to PC. Platform details here.

What past Rockstar games suggest

GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 both reached PC long after console, as we set out in our PC tracker. History isn't a promise, though, and these reports suggest a shorter gap this time.

Don't buy hardware for it yet. Any system requirements you see today are invented. When Rockstar publishes real ones, you can compare your options against facts, and hardware prices will have moved by then anyway.
