August gave us the Netflix Extended Look. September was quieter on footage and busier on everything else. Here is the month, in order.

Pre-Load: November 12 Comes Into Focus

September's store listings showed the seven-day pre-load window set out in Rockstar's pre-order announcement, which says digital pre-order holders "will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12, 2026 to ensure they are able to play at launch on November 19, 2026." The boxed edition, a download code with no disc, goes on sale November 12 to support pre-loading. No file size or unlock hour has been published yet. Our launch checklist has the storage advice.

September 10: Union Tribunal Opens in Glasgow

The final employment tribunal hearing over Rockstar's dismissal of 34 workers, 31 of them IWGB members, began on September 10. Rockstar says the dismissals were for breaches of confidentiality; the union alleges union-busting. It has since been extended into November. See our October roundup.

September 17: Zelnick on PC, Twitch on Multiplayer

At Take-Two's shareholder meeting, Strauss Zelnick called PC "more and more important" without mentioning GTA 6. The same day, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy told Bloomberg he expects Rockstar to "launch multiplayer" next year. Neither is a Rockstar announcement. Our full breakdown has the wording.

September 24: The $399.99 Collector's Box

The Goodtime State Vice City Collection has 11 items, from a Macca the Gator stash figure to Oakley Frogskins. It does not include the game. Full contents here.
